As some of woo know, our huMom went to the University of Washington for some of her training. Did woo know their mascot is the husky? Cool huh! Except.... usually their "Husky" is actually a Malamute. Now I don't have anything against Mal's... it just seems a little like false advertising is all.
The last mascot retired awhile ago and now they have a new one. Do woo think they got a Husky this time?
NO!That's OK though. Why? Because the new mascot is a blogging doggie, and he's CUUUUUUTE!!!

Dakota and Phantom both lived in Connecticut with Mom and Dad before they got Thunder. The mascot for UConn is a husky, an all-white one named Jonathan. All of the Jonathans have come from Pennsylvania. He was the inspiration for Dad to want to get Dakota.

We agree that Dubs should be a real Sibe. Everyone who sees us up here thinks we are so tiny, but that's because a lot of people think that Dubs (and his predecessors) are huskies so they think we should be the same size!

Ha-wooo, we loved your post. We live in Seattle, and our hu-mom's friend went to UW for some of her training too. When we found out their "live-action" mascot was a Malamute we were quite offended. So I got to pose for some photos with mom's friend instead! Ha-wooo! That was a couple yrs ago though, when Spirit was the mascot. Looks like they have a new one?? And a blogging doggy?? Coool!
