How we stay cool in the Mohave Desert Heat

Hey Roo!

Indy asked how the heck a Sibe can stay cool in the desert heat.

As most Sibe Moms and Dads know, we have amazingly adaptable fur. Our double coat protects us both from the frozen tundra and the oppressive heat. We blow out the undercoat we don't need in the summer! We get our exercise early morning or late night. We mostly stay indoors, though. We have a doggie door and a pool, but we like to stay in the air conditioned house. Mom tried to give us swimming lessons, but the big pool is just scary.

Yesterday, we got to enjoy a treat called "Yoghund". It is a yummy frozen organic concoction of lowfat yogurt, banana puree, and peanut butter. We both thought it was super delicious!

See ya later! Woooo woo rar rar rar... Kayla and Maebe

Steve - Mom got it at a place called Healthy Tails. Do you have one of those there?
