I don't know what I did to deserve this kind of abuse. I mean really, I'm being loaded up like a pack mule here.
This was not an easy hike. We did the first mile of Ice Box Canyon up at Red Rock on Monday. See how rocky it is? It was hot too. At our first water stop, we drank half of the water I was carrying. So huMom said we had to turn around.
He was standing right next to the road. All huMom had to do was pull over and open the passenger-side window to take the pic!
Don't woo think Maebe should get her own pack too? After all, why should I suffer alone?

Yup! Mom tried to make me carry one of those but i just sat down and refuse to move...

You guys are good...I only venture out to Vegas to drop off kidlets!! Hiking after June or before October, ummm you are a better person than I!!! Going out on the 26th to drop off kiddies!!!
Our mom thought about getting a pack for one of us to carry a while ago. Dad asked her what for - what would we put in it? She said, "Poop bags, water, treats, cell phone, etc." He said, "But you already carry that!" Mom thought he missed the point. I thought Dad was VERY smart! :)

Our Dadio carries all of our equipment so we cant really relate to your torture. We know we are supposed to be working dogs but we think that is only in books and movies.
So sorry you were singled out to be the pack husky.
I know Remy would just sit down and refuse to budge and Flash would look so sad and abused that Dad would have to take the pack off.
I think you should refuse to leave the house until it's freezing outside. That's the way we do it around here.

So only one of you has to wear a backpack? Does that mean that you have to carry all the poop too? Doesn't seem fair to me. If there is only going to be one backpack, shouldn't it be on your mom?
